AUJ Jan 2016 latest

The AUJ second jam of 2016 will be on the 12th January at the Swan Hotel from 7.30pm.

The year is filling up with gigs in March confirmed at the Alresford Community Centre and in South Wonston.

We are free over April so if you would like to book us for your local community event, festival or live music event then please get in touch on alresfordukejam@outlook.com

In May we have one date in the calendar which is the Alresford Watercress Festival on the 15th May. We would love to hear of any other events who would like to have a small community ukulele jam play with their event in May.

June 2016 is a very busy month with the Winchester Ukulele Festival on the 4th and we hope to also be playing our local music festival on the 11th which is waiting for confirmation. We will let you know which stage or tent and the time slot as soon as we get it.

The AUJ have opened a bank account which will enable people to donate to the jam where this is needed for events and jams. For more details email alresfordukejam@outlook.com

Bass for AUJ 

The AUJ have a new bassist, in former ukulele widdler, Jon C has taken up the role with an Ashbury ukulele bass. Some notable songs have richer sound including Hey there deliah and Rock n Roll. Looking forward to putting more into baselines in the songs we cover and hopefully will provide material for original songs planned for 2016 more news on that very soon…
